Getting Caught Up

So I found a bunch of photos that I have neglected to add.. so I am doing some blog-housekeeping! We had a fun day today... taking pictures! A 'team' from Essentia Health in Duluth came today to take some photos of the boys for the "Here With You Stories" we were featured in. Which you can see here. I'm hoping they got some good ones! It was fun, either way! :)

Grandpa Paul was taking the boys for quick lawn mower rides the other night, and Luke was so enthralled! No surprise really! So fun to watch them!

He kept two hands on the wheel the whole time. Grandpa Safety was so proud! haha! (That's your new name, Dad, Grandpa Safety!)

Luke was so serious and so in to it! They had a great time. What a great grandpa!

Grandpa, Luke and Max. Luke was ready for the photo shoot to be over so he could drive more!

Grandma Cookie on the boat with her sleeping life jackets!

Daddy and Max

Yes, I took pictures in Home Depot. But you would too if your kids were this cute! haha!

I love the stores that have these double carts. I know they were not probably designed just for mothers of twins, but I like to feel special and think so!

Brotherly love? Hard to tell...

Racing!

Sharing pacifiers!

This is what was going on while I was pumping... hmmm?

I asked them how this happened and they both said they had NO idea!?!

Happy Weekend... almost!

Them Clampetts Gone Campin'

Our internet is still not working right... ugh! So, this post is long overdue! We are at my mom and dad's house tonight... enjoying cable TV, Internet, and air conditioning while back at my ranch... there is none of the above, including power! Ah... thanks mom and dad! :)
We went camping last weekend (now two weekends ago)... it was a sight! Caleb bought a 1987 Coachman Crusader a couple days before we left... it looks like this...

This is what I asked for, so not sure what Caleb was thinking! HA

Ok, for real... we have been talking about getting an RV for a while, because we are trying to come up with things to do together, as a family. And we thought camping might be fun. THOUGHT... no it was fun, just a little more eventful than I would have liked.

The happy camper ... I got car sick, so I drove for a while! We went down a very bumpy road and I literally felt like I was in a blender in the back of that buggy! Luckily I had the boys in their carseats.

It's really not bad inside!

Auntie Angie and Luke, eating gummy worms together!

Grandma and Max

MMmmmmm... gummy worms!

So... this is how kind of how I was acting, maybe, but trying not to!

See... I was TRYING! Ha!

Luke was all wore out on our hike!

Seriously!? How cute are these two! My little campers!

Home sweet home... kinda.

The boys having some fun before bed.

Good Morning! After a not so good night!

It really was fun! Best of all, it was great to spend time with family, and for us (Caleb, the boys, and I) to spend time as a family! Tonight was great fun in the RV too! After our power went out we decided to spend the evening in the RV... we made a pizza, fed the boys, hung out in the AC, read some books (picture books TO the boys) and just had family time! It was really fun! So... that RV that I was about ready to drive into a lake after it broke down multiple times on our ride home from camping, is now ok by me. And... my luck, I would drive it into a lake, it would float, and Caleb would be thrilled with our '87 houseboat!

Busy 4th!

...this is old... never was posted??? i am working on the camping weekend post!

To start off the busy weekend, Luke had an appointment with a specialist who prescribed foot/ankle/leg braces for both of his feet. Not sure exactly what to call them! He will have to wear them until his tendency to toe walk and his pattern of having his left foot turn out subsides. We go tomorrow for him to be fitted for his braces. I really hope he adjusts ok. I'm sure he will since he's so little, but I just feel bad that he is getting so close to walking and now he'll have another thing working against him! It will only make him stronger...

Ok... I was going to write about everything we did this weekend... but I am exhausted just thinking about it! So I will give you a brief run down in pictures!

We played on the boat, in the sun and the water! And then went down town to see the fireworks, but only made it for socializing and went home early for bed.

Our power went out Friday night... so daddy made bottles on the grill! :)

These are just random pictures of the boys in cute crocks...

... that they hated and just tried to take off each other!

So I need to try to be a better blogger... in the middle of the day I will think about something and tell myself - I need to blog that! And then the time comes when I can sit down and get on here, after 11:00 before I go to bed, and all I want to do is go to bed! Ha! I will get better...
