My Little Guys

I scanned in a few pictures of the ultrasound we had about a week ago. They aren't the best quality, but you get the idea. It's so funny how I already think they are adorable! haha

Baby A is the baby that sits at the bottom of my uterus and Baby B sits above him. Most of the time it feels like Baby A is on my bladder and Baby B is stuck in my ribs! :) Baby B is 'head butting' Baby A in this picture!

The infamous 'boy parts' of both Baby A and Baby B. It was pretty clear throughout the ultrasound that boy parts were all to be found.

My poor neice Samantha. She has been praying for a girl (or two) for quite some time now. After her little brother was born she has been saying that I need to have a girl so that she can have a sister! :) She is old enough now that she understands it would be her cousin. However, a girl was still on the top of her list, and rightfully so. She will now be the only girl out of five boys on the Yoder side. (her three brothers and my two now!)

Frogs and snails and puppy-dogs' tails...

That's what little BOYS are made of!!! So as you can guess we just had an ultrasound yesterday and the verdict is two little boys. And most importantly they are both healthy and growing at the same rate. My due date is still the same... August 29th. I was hoping she would be able to tell me that my due date was moved way up... but at the same time they seem to be on the way very quickly... too quickly! Caleb took a couple pictures of me after my ultrasound.
21 weeks 1 day

We are both very excited for two little boys and are praying that they will be healthy. I am pretty sure that they already take after their dad... the ultrasound tech said she rarely sees babies THAT active. She had a hard time getting the info she needed because they kept moving around! I think they are going to come out running! haha!

No Show...

So, I'm really bummed because we didn't have an ultrasound today! There was some confusion between the clinic in Hayward and up in Duluth. Hopefully within the next week we will have one in Hayward. It's hard when you are really looking forward to finding out and then totally let down. BUT... she did listen to their heartbeats and everything seemed good. Both Caleb and I really liked it up there (SMDC) and are pretty sure that will be where the babies will be delivered. They seem so much more comfortable and confident with twin pregnancies and just put me at ease. I'm scared enough as it is... and I really don't need a doctor who is unsure of what is going on too! ha!

Nursery...

So, as most of you know our home is under construction, and will probably remain that way for the next couple years. That's what you get when you buy a huge home that needs TONS of work, I guess. But... the master bedroom and the babies' room are top priority right now! We are to the point now where we can start to hang sheet rock and then mud/tape and flooring!

The picture above shows the babies' view from the deck in front of the sliding door. The light that comes in will be nice!

I am so anxious to find out the sexes... but I realize that I need to be patient. My next OB appointment is this coming Wednesday (April 14th) in Duluth at St. Mary's. I have to establish care up there with a doctor because it is very likely that I will be giving birth there, due to the fact that Hayward does not have an NICU. My doctor here had me all excited and said that I would have an ultrasound up there and I could find out the sexes. But... I called up there to confirm my appointment... and I don't have an ultrasound scheduled!!! I know I will get another one soon... but now that Caleb told me I could find out, I am so exicted to know now! I think he really wants to find out too. When I told him we don't have an ultrasound on Wednesday he was bummed.. and said "Why am I even going with you?" Thanks, honey! hahaha!

The Growing Bump

So... time for more bump pictures. I still have not adjusted to my new body. I think it happens and grows way too fast to get used to. Whenever I look at myself in the mirror before I take a shower I just get the giggles... and think of humpty-dumpty! haha!

The below picture was around 17 weeks.

And the newest picture below is from today... over 19 weeks. Getting super close the the 20 week (5 month) mark.

I will be adding more as I grow. I'm sure it will start to get pretty entertaining! :)
